While clergy and lay assistants –  minister to the sick, frail, and elderly who are unable to attend church, many volunteers organise and conduct several other church ministries and support the work of the clergy by outreaching to the needy and disadvantaged in the community. There are activities to suit everyone’s special interests. The Parish ministries are co-ordinated by the Rev. Kathy Dunstan.

The Parish Op Shop located in the church grounds is managed and operated by the Ops Shop management Team Chair Steve Dunstan, Co – Ordinator’s Di Burling, Alison & Hellen and assistant by a great team of volunteers Monday to Friday 9.30am to 4pm  and on Saturday mornings from 9am to 12 noon and to 1pm on our monthly Market Day. It provides cheap clothing and household goods to those in need. Donations of clean, wearable clothing and saleable household goods are always welcome during opening hours.

Mothers’ Union is a worldwide organisation within the Anglican Church. Their aim is “sharing Christ’s life by encouraging, strengthening and supporting marriage and family life”. They meet monthly on the 3rd Thursday  at 10.00 am and their varied program includes guest speakers, discussions on current social responsibility topics, Quiet Days, social visits, fundraising activities and service to members of the community. 

Coffee, Craft & Chata large number of ‘crafty’ people meet each Tuesday at 1.00 pm. Many of these members do not attend church, but come along to enjoy the company and friendship of others while learning new crafts and making a range of items which are sold at the Monthly Markets.

 

Bible Study Groups – there are two bible study groups in the parish: Tuesday mornings @ 10 am & Wednesday afternoon @ 4pm. All welcome.
 
Every Friday is community Day in the Parish Hall, and all the community far & wide is welcome to come along:
8.30am to 11am  #1- Drop in Cafe’ – Enjoy a range of Coffees, home made scones, yummy slices & cakes and have a chat
9am to 10am #1 – Coffee & Playtime for 0-5yrs. Mums, Dads, grandparents & carers can enjoy time together over morning tea
12noon to 1pm – Community Lunch – Currently winter menu Soup of the Day & a Bread roll , Summer a sausage sizzle with Tea &                                   coffee
1pm to 3pm – Food Assistance
and of course the Op Shop is Open
